Since its inception in 2004 as a mechanical engineering company, GDC Building Services Ltd has grown and evolved into a multi-faceted building services company providing a broad set of skills including electrical and mechanical services, minor construction works and general refurbishments across the private and public sector.  Our customers range from government agencies and the banking sector through to schools and the railway infrastructure.

By encompassing a wide field of disciplines, including specialist services and utilising the latest technology, training and processes this enables us to deliver 24 hour complete facilities management support 365 days a year with minimal disruption to our clients businesses.

Managing Director, Graham Cunningham, is an expert in mechanical construction engineering.  He started his career in the commercial sector before moving into project management.  He set up GDC Mech (abbreviation GDC Mechanical Building Services) to build on his sound technical and business knowledge while ensuring personal contact with the client and project team.

Project Director, Lee Martin joined GDC in 2008 after 10 years' experience with a national construction company working with the National House Building Council (NHBC) on new builds, and he has also attained the IOSH Managing Safely qualification.

Project Supervisor, Craig Hannah joined GDC in 2018 with over 10 years’ experience within the mechanical rail industry.  His knowledge is invaluable to GDC and has been used to obtain grounds maintenance contracts within the NHS. Great experience in 'cradle to the grave' project management. He has also attained the IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
